The Bead Head Hydropsyche Caddis fly imitates a net-spinning caddis larva. Unlike many other caddis species, Hydropsyche Caddis, or net-spinning caddis flies, don't build a case in which to live. Net spinning caddis find shelters in moving water and build a web in front of it to catch the larvae's food. When they get dislodged, the fish eat them.
