Made famous by Al Caucci on the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, the compardun fly works for most mayfly species. The deer hair wing floats the fly and gives good visibility but doesn't add so much bulk that it makes the fly look too big to the fish. Al used it on the Missouri with his fly fishing classes over the years.
