This CDC dry fly is aptly named. It is a beefy, high floater fit for any type of Caddis water which is just about everywhere. It utilizes the incredible floatation and underrated fish catching abilities of CDC. Most CDC patterns are rather sparse and delicate, but the Cornfed is dressed with a heavy CDC wing, additional CDC as hackle, and stacked with a hydrophobic poly yarn over wing for additional floatation.
