About the Author
Larry V. Notley, also known by his fish friends as the Galactic Warlord and Mad Dog Fisherman, is a veteran fisherman, fly-fisher and fly tier of cold, warm and salt waters with over 40 years of fishing experience. He lives in Malakoff, Texas at Cedar Creek Lake where he fishes and tests new techniques for warm and cold water. He has written three books covering knots and leader construction and numerous articles on fly fishing knots, leaders and flies. His company, Pockit Sports Co., manufactures a complete line of fly tying stations and poppers. His travels have taken him coast to coast and boarder to boarder, attending fishing shows, fishing and gathering and shearing information with his clients and friends. His love is watching the explosion of a fish taking a top-water bait.
