Flatwater Lodge
The Flatwater is one of our favorite homes on the Missouri River.
This riverfront lodge style facility is a fully licensed and insured Montana Tourist Home comprised of 2 units which are called the Main House and the Flatwater Bunkhouse, both of which are rented together. Daily maid service is included in all bookings! The Main House will comfortably lodge up to 10 anglers in 5 separate bedrooms along with 4 full bathrooms and the Bunkhouse will sleep up to 4 anglers with 1 full bathroom and kitchen facility. The Main House sits a fly cast away from the banks of the Missouri River where anglers can spend time fishing or rehashing their day on the water on our comfortable deck. The spacious Main House is two stories with just over 4,000 square feet equipped with high end furnishings and finishes throughout so the creature comforts for guests are plentiful. Dining facilities consist of a fully loaded kitchen with everything you need to perform your own high end meals. The dining area boasts a beautiful view of the river with entryway doors to the sizable deck allowing ease for outdoor dining. We have also added a 300 square foot river deck for cocktail hour and evening relax sessions. We believe you will be more than comfortable at our lodge and hope that your trip to the Missouri River Canyon is a successful one. Enjoy your stay!

Take Interstate 15 North to EXIT 240 (DEARBORN)
Upon exiting I-15, take a left hand turn (Flatwater Lodge is 3.1 miles from I-15 Dearborn exit)
Proceed on road until you reach Cooper Drive (Dirt Road)
Road will form a "Y", proceed to the right, up the hill
Continue for approximately 2.2 miles, over railroad tracks, under the Interstate
After the Intersate take first left (River Drive), continue to 32 River Drive
From GREAT FALLS & CASCADE, MONTANA:
Take Interstate 15 South to EXIT 240 (DEARBORN)
Upon exiting I-15, take a left hand turn (Flatwater Lodge is 3.1 miles from I-15 Dearborn exit)
Proceed on road until you reach Cooper Drive (Dirt Road)

We are part of the township of Craig, Montana and all purchases must be taxed at 4% which goes directly back to the improvement of Craig, Montana. Additionally, the State of Montana has a 4% Lodging Sales Tax and a 4% Lodging Facility Use Tax which are used to fund and preserve historical features, and enhance tourism experiences in the state. These are the only fees not included in our retail prices. All cleaning, coffee, and other services are included in the retail price.
Dinner at the lodge
We will now be offering dinner at the Trout Shop Lodge if you are staying at any of our local vacation homes or at the Trout Shop Lodge. You can make reservations at The Trout Shop in advance or upon check-in. We can have everything ready for you when you get off the water. We have a full service cocktail, beer, and wine menu. We have lots of options to get you on the water when you visit Craig. You can fish the famous dry fly section of the Missouri from Holter Dam to Cascade, MT, or take a jet boat above upper Holter which is known as the Land of Giants, or you can even book a trout spey trip and learn something new.
