Drift Boat Rental - Below Holter Dam
Full Service Option:
Come float the scenic Missouri River with ease, and catch a few fish while you are at it. The Trout Shop drift boat rental is an all inclusive boat rental. Make sure to call the shop ahead of time to complete the waiver and the shuttle slip. With this you will be able to show up in your vehicle to where you want to float. We will have the boat ready to launch for you. We then will shuttle your vehicle to the take out. When your done you can anchor the boat up securely, get in your vehicle and take off. We will grab the boat for you. We provide a cooler and a net also in the rental. This rental allows you to float from 8am to 6pm. And locations from the Dam to Mid Canon.
Self Service Option:
Are you ready to float sun up to sun down on your trip to the Mighty Mo? The DIY drift boat rental is perfect for you! Complete the waiver and purchase a shuttle letting the shop know where you are floating and you are good to go on our side. The DIY drift boat rental allows you to bring your own vehicle to hook up to the boat and tow it to the launch. We will shuttle your vehicle to the take out you chose. Load the boat up and bring it the shop. As long as the waiver and shuttles are paid for you can grab the boat as early as 5am and take out as late as 10pm. Cooler and net are provided in this boat rental.
We are part of the township of Craig, Montana and all purchases must be taxed at 4% which goes directly back to the improvement of Craig, Montana. Additionally, the State of Montana has a 4% Lodging Sales Tax and a 4% Lodging Facility Use Tax which are used to fund and preserve historical features, and enhance tourism experiences in the state. These are the only fees not included in our retail prices. All cleaning, coffee, and other services are included in the retail price.
Dinner at the lodge
We will now be offering dinner at the Trout Shop Lodge if you are staying at any of our local vacation homes or at the Trout Shop Lodge. You can make reservations at The Trout Shop in advance or upon check-in. We can have everything ready for you when you get off the water. We have a full service cocktail, beer, and wine menu. We have lots of options to get you on the water when you visit Craig. You can fish the famous dry fly section of the Missouri from Holter Dam to Cascade, MT, or take a jet boat above upper Holter which is known as the Land of Giants, or you can even book a trout spey trip and learn something new.
