To get to the property you will drive on a gravel road. It is generally good, but does get steep and narrow in a few areas! Access is off I-15 exit 240. Cooper Drive is gravel and goes up and over a large bluff northwest of the freeway and then comes back down under the freeway to the river. Cooper drive connects to River drive. It's about 10-12 minutes from the exit to the cabin.

The property is approximately 15 minutes to the town of Craig and 25 Minutes to the town of Cascade.

There are 3 bedrooms total and 2 bathrooms.  The cabin has a total of 5 beds that can accommodate up to 6 people.

We are part of the township of Craig, Montana and all purchases must be taxed at 4% which goes directly back to the improvement of Craig, Montana. Additionally, the State of Montana has a 4% Lodging Sales Tax and a 4% Lodging Facility Use Tax which are used to fund and preserve historical features, and enhance tourism experiences in the state. These are the only fees not included in our retail prices. All cleaning, coffee, and other services are included in the retail price.

Dinner at the lodge

We will now be offering dinner at the Trout Shop Lodge if you are staying at any of our local vacation homes or at the Trout Shop Lodge. You can make reservations at The Trout Shop in advance or upon check-in. We can have everything ready for you when you get off the water. We have a full service cocktail, beer, and wine menu. We have lots of options to get you on the water when you visit Craig. You can fish the famous dry fly section of the Missouri from Holter Dam to Cascade, MT, or take a jet boat above upper Holter which is known as the Land of Giants, or you can even book a trout spey trip and learn something new.
