Welcome to this Missouri Riverfront Home, a newly remodeled, cozy retreat nestled on the banks of the Missouri River just downstream from Craig, MT. Whether you’re here for world-class fly fishing or to relax and take in Montana’s breathtaking scenery, this rustic getaway has it all. With 3 bedrooms (5 beds) and space for up to 6 guests, you’ll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious deck. Direct river access allows for great wade fishing, swimming, or a place to take out kayaks and tubes. Just down the road from Prewett Fishing Access, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned for both adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re reeling in trout or simply soaking up the views, you won’t have to go far to satisfy your hunger—just cross the road to the Missouri River Bar and Grill. Known for its hearty meals and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the ideal spot to refuel after a day on the water. Also only 10 minutes to the grocery store in Cascade or a half hour to all the stores and services of Great Falls. The whole property is available for guest use except garage and outbuilding. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room if an extra bed is needed
We are part of the township of Craig, Montana and all purchases must be taxed at 4% which goes directly back to the improvement of Craig, Montana. Additionally, the State of Montana has a 4% Lodging Sales Tax and a 4% Lodging Facility Use Tax which are used to fund and preserve historical features, and enhance tourism experiences in the state. These are the only fees not included in our retail prices. All cleaning, coffee, and other services are included in the retail price.
Dinner at the lodge
We will now be offering dinner at the Trout Shop Lodge if you are staying at any of our local vacation homes or at the Trout Shop Lodge. You can make reservations at The Trout Shop in advance or upon check-in. We can have everything ready for you when you get off the water. We have a full service cocktail, beer, and wine menu. We have lots of options to get you on the water when you visit Craig. You can fish the famous dry fly section of the Missouri from Holter Dam to Cascade, MT, or take a jet boat above upper Holter which is known as the Land of Giants, or you can even book a trout spey trip and learn something new.
